Big Dry Creek Dog Park

This fenced off-leash park just opened in late 2010 as part of the City of Westminster's new 18-acre sports, playground and picnic area. But it has already attracted regular visitors and a friendly atmosphere for socializing. The park gives dogs plenty of open space to romp, and there is plenty of parking. Designed with composting in mind, Big Dry Creek Dog Park features a separate in-ground receptacle for dog waste and offers dispensers stocked with degradable bags.

Local businesses that have "adopted" dog waste bag stations are recognized with dispenser signs. Businesses also support the program by printing ads on the pick-up bags.
