Broomfield Commons Dog Park

This off-leash park is part of a 300-acre site that includes the Paul Derda Recreation Center, 237 acres of open space, and an 80-acre park/sports complex. The dog park is well-fenced and features a separate small dog area, a creek, benches, and drinking water. Broomfield Commons was the first dog park to sign on for EnviroWagg dog waste composting when it was still a pilot program in 2008.

The city parks department provides separate in-ground collection receptacles for dog waste and trash, provides biodegradable pick-up bags and covers the cost of collection.
